I’ve always been drawn to photographs that do more than simply show what happened. The images I return to most are the ones that hold feeling — the ones that capture atmosphere, connection, beauty and something quietly honest all at once.
That perspective shapes the way I photograph weddings. I’m drawn to light, movement, expression, space and the smaller in-between moments that give a day its character. My approach is calm and unobtrusive, with an eye for imagery that feels natural, elevated and emotionally true.
Based in Warwickshire, I photograph weddings across London, the UK, Europe and further afield. I’m especially drawn to celebrations with a strong sense of style, feeling and personality — days that are thoughtfully put together, but never over-directed.
For me, the best wedding photographs are the ones that feel effortless. Beautiful, yes — but also alive. Images that bring you back not only to how everything looked, but to how it all felt.
Approach
My approach comes down to this: no two weddings should ever be photographed in exactly the same way. Every celebration has its own rhythm, atmosphere and aesthetic, shaped by the couple, the setting, the people, the light and the emotion running through it. My role is to read those nuances carefully and respond in a way that feels instinctive, elegant and deeply true to who you are.
Some moments lend themselves to a more fashion-led perspective, while others are best captured with a quieter, more observational approach. I move between the two with intention — noticing, anticipating and stepping in only where a little direction will bring ease, shape or clarity. The aim is never to impose, but to create imagery that feels elevated, artful and emotionally honest, while still preserving the spontaneity of the day itself.
Above all, I want you to feel like yourselves. The most compelling photographs are always born from that place — from connection, movement, individuality and the atmosphere that makes a wedding entirely its own. It is a collaborative experience built on trust, resulting in photographs that feel polished, expressive and full of life.
“There is no standard plan, no pattern from which to work. You must be on the alert with the brain, the eye, the heart, and have a suppleness of body.”

I’m based in Warwickshire and regularly photograph weddings across London, Italy, France and Spain.
-
Not at all. Most couples say this before the wedding.
You do not need to know how to pose or perform for the camera. My approach is designed to help you feel comfortable quickly, and most people settle into the day faster than they expect. For portraits, I keep things natural and lightly directed so that nothing feels forced or overly staged.
-
Most couples book between 6 and 18 months in advance. I take on a limited number of weddings each year, so once you know your date, it’s always worth getting in touch to check availability. Midweek micro weddings can sometimes be accommodated closer to the date.
-
I occasionally take on weekend micro weddings for existing destination or full-day clients. Midweek micro weddings are also available, and it is always worth getting in touch to discuss availability.
-
Absolutely. Building trust and getting a feel for who you are is an important part of the process. I’m always happy to arrange a video call before booking, and once your date is secured, I stay in touch throughout the planning journey. We’ll also have a detailed catch-up in the lead-up to the wedding.
-
Yes — I regularly photograph weddings across the UK and Europe, and I’m always open to select destinations further afield. Travel can be discussed depending on the location and plans for the celebration.
-
In case of camera failure the night before a wedding, I have emergency insurance that will get cameras/lenses to me the next morning. I simultaneously write to two memory cards throughout the day. Cards are then backed up to the cloud, a RAID system, and local hard drive. Cards will not be deleted until the full gallery is delivered. In the event of poor health, I have built up a network of London-based photographers whom I can rely on in an emergency.
-
Both. Digital is always at the core of my wedding coverage and 2 rolls of 35mm. I also offer 35mm and medium format film extension for couples who want an analogue element woven into the day.
Film brings a softness and texture that feels incredibly special, and when chosen, it becomes a more intentional part of how I document sections of the celebration.
-
Always. I carry professional backup equipment throughout the day and take every precaution to protect your images from capture through to delivery.
What People Are Saying
“Tom photographed our wedding in Lake Garda, Italy. Choosing Tom was the best decision we could have made. Not only is he an incredibly talented photographer, he went above and beyond taking stunning photographs. In the morning of the wedding, when everything seemed to be going wrong, without being asked, Tom stepped in and helped in so many ways; he saved my veil from being destroyed in a lift, helped keep me sane, happy and positive whilst my very Italian wedding planner was shouting and politely moved tourists on that were in shot. But most importantly Tom made myself, my husband and all our guests feel so comfortable. We felt like Tom was one of the guests and a friend rather than just our photographer. Tom’s photographs from our wedding and shoot are just unbelievably stunning, we couldn’t be happier, all our family and friends have commented that they look even better than those in magazines. I will continue to recommend Tom to everyone and every couple looking for a wedding photographer. Thank you”
“Wow, we really struck gold choosing Tom as our wedding photographer! Chuffed to bits is an understatement. He managed to deliver exactly what we wanted but better, with hardly any instructions from us. His ability to capture the magic of the day in such a beautiful yet very natural way is something else. We have the perfect mix of posed portraits, where Tom’s ability to use lighting has created some breathtaking results, along with a whole catalogue of unposed, totally relaxed yet equally beautiful shots that really tell the story of our day. As someone who isn’t overly comfortable in front of the camera and rarely likes a photo of themselves I think I was more nervous about the photos than the wedding itself! But Tom instantly put me at ease and I didn’t once feel uncomfortable. He blended in as if he were one of our guests and was just such a lovely person to get on with, lots of guests commented what a great guy he was. Thank you Tom - There honestly isn’t one photo that I don’t love!”
“Tom was absolutely amazing at our wedding. We took a long term to consider who to choose but from the beginning of our research Tom stood out from the crowd. Excellent communicator and he allowed me and my wife to scope out exactly how we wanted the day to run and the part Tom needed to play in it. We weren’t interested in the stereotypical wedding shots, (albeit they were beautiful) we asked Tom to try and capture each moment ideally without us knowing he was there. Tom produced some unbelievable photos that will be a part of our family for generations to come. One of Tom’s key strengths is his ability to carry out the photography duties by putting a smile on everyone’s face. This warm and open attitude ensures that the shots taken capture the moment. My wife and I could not speak highly enough of Tom and would recommend any prospective couple to book Tom for their big day, he will not disappoint”
